LA ANG F-15B arriving at Sioux City Iowa, bringing a pilot to fly a freshly painted Eagle back to New Orleans, the Iowa ANG base had a paint facility for various ANG fighters. This was August 2001.

Nice MOs, never got to shoot the F-15Cs even though I was on the flightline at Mountain Home a couple of times.

96 William Tell at Tyndall, F-15C 78-0518 from Kadena Japan, this jet also spent time with the Oregon ANG and at Nellis as a Aggressor, I’m guessing it’s long been retired now.

Lakenheath’s first Strike Eagle was from a early batch of FY 90 jets that they relinquished back to CONUS units, mostly they went to the Weapons School at Nellis but 90-0248 went to the 90th FS in Alaska and then onto Mountain Home where she still is today.
