I probably have many archived on hard drives but not so many edited.

The only time I’ve caught any Klamath Falls Eagles was on a Saturday morning at Tucson airport in March 2015, probably my one and only chance.

Killer shot! So how did you shoot that from a tanker?

After they’d done refueling i asked if that one would stay back for photos and asked the boomer to stow the boom, having the window to myself i could get down low and the Eagle pilot just swung from side to side a few times and i got lucky. Dont think ive ever been able to recreate that angle though.

Ha! That’s too cool. Still miffed we missed the flare dumping Viper over the Gulf of Mexico.

Yeah i kept out of the way up front, huge difference when you have a tanker to yourself! Just remembered that eagle never took fuel as it was an instructor watching new guys do their first AAR in a pair of F-15Ds, i had to ask him to go back for photos when they were done and fortunately he kindly did.

great shots, we were lucky a few years back having the 4th FW work out of PSM for 2 weeks. Hope they come back soon!

Love the lighting on the first one, Kev. When was that?
