It was great having the SJ Boys up working out of PSM last year for 2 weeks. They had a huge crowd each day watching them take off.

The CA ANG is getting them to replace these old C models, shot in Star Wars Canyon, when you could.

- Fresno Air National Guard Base, Calif. (planned)
Righto, I know a couple of the Guard units are getting F-35s (boooo)
Massachusetts, Jax, and Klamath Falls all got bounced to F-35s after the AF decided to base EXes at Kadena.
Unless plans have changed again, the Kadena squadrons are supposed to receive their airplanes and do initial training in Portland. I’m hoping that means a couple of years of seeing ZZ-coded jets at PDX.

Would have loved to see the whole turn in those streamers. Lots of times I realize if I had just zoomed out a bit the picture would have told the whole story.

Indeed. The number of times I’ve come home with abundant photos with readable serial numbers, but none that convey the scene like Daz’s first shot….
