Incredible that this bird has been around for 70 years…

C-130E Hercules 62-1856 from 143rd AS Quonset Point, RI
Here’s Dutch C-130H G-781 at Volkel Air Base back in 2019, dropping some cargo during a demo at the airshow.
Will miss them when they are replaced by Embraer C-390’s.
This is the KC-130J that was involved in a midair collision with an F-35B back on September 29 2020 just west of the Salton Sea. Miraculously no one was killed and the pilot of the Herk managed an emergency landing in a field near Thermal . Seen here on departure at Yuma during WTI 2-17.
That’s a nice bird, guess it was written off though?
I love this one, nice window seat as well… USAF HC-130J Combat King II 16-5858 taking off from Eindhoven Air Base during Falcon Leap in 2024.
I’m pretty sure yeah. F-35 was destroyed as the guy punched out. There was a crazy video posted on FB after it happened of the F-35 falling right near a family just west of the 86 near Salton City.
Where’s that at?
Great shot well taken.

Oh no! Now we have to moderate this post I guess? I think this one should be posted under Civilian Aircraft since it’s a civilian Herc?
