Here’s a MC-130H “TALON II”, 90-0162, I photographed at my base, the former NAS JRB Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, back on May 19, 2007. She was headed to the 27th SOW / 73rd SOS at Cannon AFB.

Nice shots , Love the AC-J ! FYI, the 73rd moved to Kirtland ( school house for the AC / HC / MC -130’s ) back in June of 2024. Also HEAL 11 is from the 16th SOS based at Cannon who also absorbed the 17th SOS at Cannon.

“CONDOR TWO-ONE”, C-130T, BD-996, VR-64, 164996 was photographed working the pattern at NAS JRB Willow Grove, Pa., back on January 7, 2007. VR-64 was one of two P-3 Reserve squadrons that were based at Willow Grove, VP-64 and VP-66, 66 was disestablished and 64 converted to 130’s. Within three years they would move to McGuire AFB as part of BRAC and, are still flying.
