The highlight of last weekend’s Central Coast AirFest in Santa Maria, CA was two De Havilland Mosquitos flying in formation - the first time a pair of the legendary British fighter-bombers had flown together since the late 1980s.
(There was lots of other cool stuff, both warbirds and modern, but c’mon! This tripled the number of Mosquitos I’ve seen flying, in one go.)

That’s pretty amazing. Also cool that these two have been flown at the same squadron back in the day.
And that these wooden wonders are still flying.
