I thought I would start another UK air museum thread.This time its Newark air museum in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
again, another museum I have visited many times.they often host special events like aero boots, cockpit fests night shoots etc etc.
we start off with the English Electric Lightning. this is a T.5 model , XS417.

Good stuff, i like it when they display aircraft in a more natural setting, looking almost operational.
To be fair kev, i spend ages editing out the rope barriers.

todays offering is the Mikoyan Gurevich Mig-27K “Flogger”. Not that commonly seen in UK museums.
