McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II

Have to have a Phantom thread!

To start off, a shot from the 2004 edition of Phantom at Holloman AFB. Amazing to see these beast on the ramp back then. And wonderful there were so many QF-4G’s, former Wild Weasels, my favorite variant…

Probably should have opened the thread with this one… also from the 2004 Phancon edition at Holloman AFB, bt this time a F-4F from the 20TFS, the Germans Luftwaffe training squadron.

Man… love that, thanks for sharing!

Here’s an Luftwaffe F-4F at Holloman AFB in 2004, waiting for its next training mission to commence, with a bunch of speed bumps at the end of the ramp shooting in weird lighting and weather circumstances.
