LTV A-7 Corsair II

Gotta have this little guy on here. Just love this cold warrior. Sadly never saw an active US Navy version, but managed to see some ANG units on deployment in Europe in the 80’s and a couple of Greek ones later on.

Like this one, back in 2013, at Volkel Air Base.

The above A model was accompanied by a family model - a TA-7C 156753. Love the SEA camo on those birds.

So cool. That SEA camouflage seems perfect for the Greek countryside. Glad you caught them in their natural habitat

Here are two at Kleine Brogel, back in 2007.

Probably the same time I saw them at Hahn, crappy day but it would have been a great base for photography.

Oh wow, you were at Hahn?! Never made it there (only knew their Vipers through a Hasegawa model  ). So many bases back then…

Twice, but briefly that time, not sure if we were moved on that time or the weather was bad, or we had to get somewhere but it was very brief. Also called at Spang, again briefly where we saw a Colorado Corsair on the runway. I think the weather was bad the whole time we were in Germany!

Why am I not surprised? And I guess @M.M wasn’t even there…
