HARS museum Australia (July 2023)

It’s been little over a year ago that I paid a visit to the HARS museum at Wollongong (Shellharbour airport) near Sydney.
I planned my visit during one of their tarmac weekends, when they usually fly and/or ground-run some of their exhibits. In July 2023, the tarmac weekend was DC-3 themed, as three of their C-47s/DC-3s did a simultaneous ground run. One of their S-2 Trackers was supposed to fly, but went tech so only did a ground run. The UH-1B Huey (ex RAN) did fly though.
Although some of these shots have been shown elsewhere (bot on- and offline), I picked some differents shots to show here. Hope you like 'em.

Former RAN (Royal Australian Navy) Heritage Flight Huey. Currently based elsewhere, its future home will also be at Wollongong

Six P&W R1830s running at the same time!

Love that tracker. Amazing it’s in flying condition.

The people at HARS are a great bunch of hard working people.
Not only they have a Tracker in flying condition, but also two Caribous, a Neptune and a Constellation. And then I’ve still forgotten several other gems.
Hoping to return there some day for another visit!
