Doing my bit to keep site traffic up, I’ll toss in a few pics from the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum’s annual fly-in in Hood River, Oregon a few weekends back. Unfortunately the event suffered from a touch of fire smoke, reducing contrast but giving everything an appropriate sepia tint.
Here’s the museum’s Ford 5-AT Trimotor on one of its many passenger flights.
The museum also operates this Stearman YPT-9, a forerunner of WWII’s famous Kaydet trainer family.
A visiting Cessna 195 arriving at twilight.
… and probably may favourite attendee, a lovely JRF Goose amphibian.
