Cool. Never knew this was a thing. But cool to have your own custom look for your gear.

This guy made some really nice stuff, but stopped as far as i know…
Very cool! Good luck with the new venture, let us know when you have some new designs.
Tbh, the guy that did the lens hoods got really expensive imo… He was good but not cheap so im not surprised he no longer does it… I fully appreciate the time and skill involved but…
Darren
was wondering, what was he asking for a 'simple’airbrushed lens hood?
do you happen to know that?
From memory and going back a few years now, i seem to remember it being about £75 for my sigma 600 lens hood. Obviously more if he provided the hood.
Darren
Ah ok!, lot of hours are going into making one…not yet finished with mine and about 5 hours time busy with it…
Roel.
What’s your choice of airbrush Roel ? I build scale models so, that’s why I asked.
Steve
Looking forward to seeing it
Darren
Finished my first “custom” home made airbrushed lenshood. (RF 200-800mm ), 433rd Weapons Squadrom from Nellis AFB flying the F-22 ‘Raptor’
took me about 5 hours of work really like the results!
Looking vey nice,Roel. Not an easy skill to learn. Well done
Darren
Looking good!
Looks great although i could never do all that on mine as they get beaten up too quickly.
That’s part of the character of it I think.
some i-phone pics of another lenshood i did,
Moody AFB 75th FS inspired.
also for my Canon RF200-800mm
Looking good!
Nice man! Would be cool to paint the multi barrel gun on the hood.
