Another brilliant museum with lots to see is East Midlands aeropark. Situated right next door to the airport at castle Donington,this museum represents great value for money at only £5 quid an adult. with so much to see, it’s well worth a visit.

Starting off with this beautiful Sepcat Jaguar GR3a, XZ369

Lovely, good to see it’s in pretty good condition. Such a beautiful plane with such a weird landing gear configuration.

Shame of those drop tanks though…

[Just look at it](https://www.ulsteraviationsociety.org/jaguar-gr1-jet?lightbox=dataItem-ly7wlpkl), it’s an engineering marvel of over-dimensioning it. And then making it all fit when tucked in.

Clever stuff. I’m an engineer by trade and even I marvel at some of the engineering used in the military.

Another fine example is the v-22 osprey rotor and wing fold. Fantastic!
